We begin with the devastating testimony of Cassidy Hutchinson, a White House insider who witnessed Trump’s actions in the days preceding January 6 and on that day as the chief aide to Trump’s chief of staff. Then finally we get an update of the G-7 summit that just ended and the NATO summit in Madrid which just began and speak with Daniel Treisman, a professor of political science at the University of California, Los Angeles and a fellow at the Center for Advanced Research in the Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University. A leading specialist on the politics and economics of post-communist Russia, he is the author of a number of books on Russia including The New Autocracy: Information, Politics, and Policy in Putin’s Russia and Spin Dictators: The Changing Face of Tyranny in the 21st Century.
