We begin with Biden’s strongest criticism of Israel’s behavior in Gaza calling the actions of the IDF “over the top” as Netanyahu doubles down in defiance of the US president by calling for an evacuation of Rafah, the crowded last refuge for Gazans in the south. Joining us from a demonstration in front of the Military headquarters in Tel Aviv is Avraham Burg, the son of holocaust survivors who has been active in Israeli politics as a leader in the Israeli Labor Party and the One Israel party. Then we assess the Supreme Court’s oral arguments in the Colorado case that removes Donald Trump from the primary ballot in which the right wing majority of justices went out of their way to avoid talking about insurrection in a case that was all about the January 6 insurrection and the insurrection clause in the 14th Amendment.
